Born-accessible reflowable EPUB3 from print backlists — EAA-ready, retailer-ready.
Print backlists converted into reflowable, accessible EPUB3 with proper semantic structure, alt text, and ONIX-ready metadata — built to meet the European Accessibility Act and ingestion-ready for every major retailer on day one.
The European Accessibility Act came into force on 28 June 2025. Any ebook sold into the EU must now meet EPUB Accessibility 1.0 — which in practice means WCAG 2.1 AA-conformant reflowable EPUB3 with real alt text, semantic structure, and language markup. Most publishers' pre-2025 backlists fail this test, and remediation isn't optional if you intend to keep selling those titles in the EU. The same pipeline that gets a backlist compliant also opens up a new revenue surface — many out-of-print titles can be republished as ebooks at near-zero marginal cost.
I
Step 01
Identify which titles have usable source files, which require OCR-from-print, and which need full re-keying. Prioritise by EU sales exposure and editorial value.
II
Step 02
Sheet-fed scanning + OCR tuned to the typesetting era; source InDesign / Word / XML recovered and audited where it exists. Reflowable from the start.
III
Step 03
Semantic structuring, copy editor pass for OCR errors, alt-text written by a human against your house style, language and reading-order verified.
IV
Step 04
Ace by DAISY conformance check, ONIX records generated, bundles pushed to KDP, Apple Books, Google Play Books, Kobo, and EU library aggregators.

Talk to usAnything that benefits from real editorial, engineering, or accessibility rigour. Most of our work falls into one of four practices — Book Publishing, Digitalization, Accessibility Solutions, or LLM Consulting — but the same studio runs all of it, so combined briefs (a textbook plus accessible companion EPUB, an archive plus an LLM retrieval layer over it) are common.
Specialists, not generalists. An editor does the editing; an OCR engineer tunes the extraction pipeline; an accessibility auditor signs off WCAG. You get one named project lead, weekly demos, and a written brief that prevents almost every horror story you have heard about creative projects.
We are a Chennai studio with 80+ partner relationships worldwide. Most projects run fully remote, with kickoff and review calls scheduled across time zones. We have shipped work into the US, UK, EU, ANZ, and Southeast Asia.
It depends entirely on scope — a single cover design and an 800-page reference textbook sit at very different ends. After a 30-minute discovery call we send a written brief with a clear, itemised quote. No retainers required, no surprise invoices.
