From physical stacks to a harvested, searchable catalogue.
Public, academic, and special-collections libraries digitised end-to-end — bulk capture, metadata that satisfies MARC21 and Dublin Core, and OAI-PMH-ready feeds so your titles surface in every discovery aggregator that matters.
Holdings locked inside a single OPAC reach a tiny fraction of the readers they could. Modern discovery services — Trove, HathiTrust, Europeana, the national aggregators — harvest Dublin Core over OAI-PMH. Until your collection is digitised and exposed that way, it is effectively invisible to anyone outside your building. Beyond discoverability, the original paper degrades; high-fidelity digital surrogates are the only honest long-term preservation strategy for fragile material.
I
Step 01
We walk the stacks with your librarians, prioritise by access demand and preservation urgency, and lock the metadata schema before a single page is captured.
II
Step 02
Book cradles for bound material, planetary scanners for fragile periodicals, sheet-fed for ephemera — calibrated to FADGI 3-star or better across every item.
III
Step 03
MARC21 records imported or upgraded, Dublin Core crosswalk, OCR tuned to the collection's languages and scripts, full-text indexed for discovery.
IV
Step 04
Delivered into your DSpace, Islandora, or custom repository — or hosted on our IIIF stack — with OAI-PMH live on day one.
If yours is not here, write to us — the practice lead will reply directly.
Talk to usAnything that benefits from real editorial, engineering, or accessibility rigour. Most of our work falls into one of four practices — Book Publishing, Digitalization, Accessibility Solutions, or LLM Consulting — but the same studio runs all of it, so combined briefs (a textbook plus accessible companion EPUB, an archive plus an LLM retrieval layer over it) are common.
Specialists, not generalists. An editor does the editing; an OCR engineer tunes the extraction pipeline; an accessibility auditor signs off WCAG. You get one named project lead, weekly demos, and a written brief that prevents almost every horror story you have heard about creative projects.
We are a Chennai studio with 80+ partner relationships worldwide. Most projects run fully remote, with kickoff and review calls scheduled across time zones. We have shipped work into the US, UK, EU, ANZ, and Southeast Asia.
It depends entirely on scope — a single cover design and an 800-page reference textbook sit at very different ends. After a 30-minute discovery call we send a written brief with a clear, itemised quote. No retainers required, no surprise invoices.
