Imprints served
Imprints serving four very different audiences — academic presses, trade publishers, reference houses, and university journals — all needed the same outcome: titles on every retailer's shelf, on schedule, without the editorial drift that comes from a hand-off-heavy supply chain. The brief, across every imprint, was the same: take it from manuscript to ingested EPUB without dropping the thread.
01
Stood up a contributor-style-sheet generator so each new title absorbs its author's voice without re-templating the interior system.
02
Centralised the InDesign paragraph-style library so academic, trade, and reference titles share a typographic spine — even when the page furniture differs.
03
Parallelised copy-edit, design, and typesetting passes per title with shared QA gates, so a slow author chapter doesn't stall the whole title.
04
Produced print-ready PDF/X-1a, EPUB3, and KF8 from the same source on every title — proofed under one QA gate instead of three.
05
Handled ISBN allocation, retailer metadata, and ingestion across 12+ markets, with localised metadata for every translated edition.
“The same disciplined pipeline that ships a 4-language constitutional law compendium also ships an indie author's debut — no version drift, no missed conferences, no retailer escalations.”
